Strengthening locally-led WASH organizations to create lasting solutions.
Introducing Pure Water Colaborative (PWC)
We are a Vermont-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to ensure people have reliable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
Building on the 25-year legacy of Pure Water for the World, we advance sustainable WASH solutions across Haiti and Central America by investing in locally led organizations and the communities they serve.
Thank you for joining us in this important work.
What We Do
We partner with locally led WASH organizations in Central America and Haiti so they can deliver sustainable solutions that improve the lives of children and families in the communities they serve. This includes:
Invest in Local Priorities: Fund partner-led initiatives that fill critical gaps and expand their reach and impact.
Organizational Strengthening: Provide collaborative support in strategic planning, organizational development, marketing, fundraising, and human resources to help our partners build stronger, more resilient, and more effective organizations.
Champion WASH: Elevate our partners’ work to raise awareness of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene and keep these issues a global priority.
Transform Lives: Support local teams as they help children and families gain reliable access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene, improving overall health, well-being, and future opportunities.
Who We Work With
We collaborate with established, locally led nonprofit organizations rooted in the communities they serve. With deep knowledge of local challenges and years of WASH experience, our partners lead solutions that are responsive, sustainable, and locally driven.
PWC provides the support they need to strengthen their organizations and reach more communities.
Our Impact
Together, we’re already making progress. Here are a few highlights:
Helped launch Dlo Pwòp Ayiti (DPA) in Haiti, including securing seed funding to establish the organization.
Currently supporting the development of DPA's organizational structure.
Supported marketing and fundraising efforts for Agua Pura para el Mundo (APPM) in Honduras, helping generate more than $10,000 for community WASH projects in 2024 and 2025.
Transitioned marketing and fundraising responsibilities to APPM staff, strengthening the organization's independence and long-term sustainability.
Currently supporting APPM in developing their 2026–2030 strategic plan.
