PWC builds collaborative partnerships with nationally established, locally-directed nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in Haiti and Central America that advance sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions in the communities they serve. We support our partners through:
Strategic Investment: We fund the priorities our partners identify as having the greatest potential to improve health and well-being in communities they serve.
Organizational Strengthening: We provide collaborative support in strategic planning, organizational development, and capacity building, including guidance in marketing, fundraising, and human resources, to help our partners grow stronger, more resilient, and more effective.
WASH Promotion: We elevate safe water, sanitation, and hygiene as a global priority by amplifying our partners’ programs, needs, and impact.

When considering partnerships, we start with open and transparent conversations with the organization’s leaders and Board of Directors. We review financials, organizational documents, organizational policies, program results, and any available audits to ensure accountability to our donors and the IRS.
Partner organizations must be registered nonprofits in their countries and adhere to ethical practices in their leadership, board governance, and program delivery.

All donations to Pure Water Collaborative support our mission and strengthen our ability to partner effectively with WASH organizations in Haiti and Central America. Donations are allocated thoughtfully and strategically, guided by our vision, mission, and partnerships, so we can carry out our work effectively and sustainably.
Donors may choose to designate their gift to support PWC’s strategic funding program directed at a specific collaborating organization. For these designated gifts, 10% is retained by PWC to support our overall operations and collaborative efforts that strengthen and support these partnerships.
To maintain the integrity of our collaborative model, all contributions must support our mission and work with contracted collaborating partner organizations. We can not accept pass through funds or designated funds that do not align with PWC’s mission and vision.
